Every state has its own symbols including flags, nicknames, animals, and flowers, but did you know that each Hawaiian island is represented by its own official color? Maui’s color is pink, and the island was just right for the romantic destination wedding of Junko and Kentaro.
Although this wedding featured shades of pink, it did not look overly feminine or frilly. The wooden accents throughout the decor gave the whole scene balance. Plus the stunning landscape - all the different types of greenery, the glistening Pacific Ocean, and even the reddish brown of the Pu’u Olai Cinder Cone in the background - created the perfect natural canvas.
No detail was overlooked. The live music, lounge area, and hanging picture frames were added to make the guests feel more comfortable. Every single element worked together to keep the ambience fun, fresh, and elegant.
Junko radiated in a delicate lace dress with jewels that sparkled almost as bright as her eyes. Kentaro looked sharp in his blue suit and the smile did not leave his face. With all their loved ones by their sides, they came together as one under the Maui sun, and I don’t think they could have done it any better!
