THE COUNDOWN IS HERE!… THIS IS what you can expect the day you say I do.

Getting Ready :

I love starting off the day with the detail shots. I usually spend 30 minutes to an hour on the details because lets be honest. you spend so much time and money finding the most amazing dress and the perfect shoes to go with it and I want to make sure you have some gorgeous photos to remember these beautiful pieces. They are special to you and they deserve to be remembered as such! During this time I'll also be taking candids of you and your girls getting ready! always make sure you are already mostly ready before I start taking shooting so you are looking your best! "love getting those adorable shots of you and your bridesmaids in your getting ready Robes.

° Tips for Getting Ready | - If your groom also wants getting ready photos. it is always best if your getting ready rooms are close to each other so that my team and I are able to go from one room to the other and it won't take time away from your photo coverage. Time flies on your wedding day and there are lots of little details like this to keep in mind while planning so that you get the most out of my photography coverage! I always recommend getting an airbnb or a house instead of a hotel for getting ready. it makes for more intimate photos for your bridal shots. It's always nice to have more than one room for getting ready sometimes it gets a little crazy in the smaller hotel rooms!

Ceremony:

When you walk down the aisle I will focus the bride and groom's faces and my second photographer will focus on the faces of your quests so that we get everyone s reaction when you and your fiance first look into each others eyes.

°Tips for Ceremony| - For optimal lighting throughout your wedding day. I suggest having your ceremony early between 2-4 pm. This may seem early but Hawaiis weather is unpredictable and if it ends up being cloudy or overcast during sunset, it is better that we had that great light for all of your photos beforehand. If the sunset ends up being amazing. we can always head back out to take those amazing sunset pictures.

Bride & Groom First Look/ Touch:

I love first looks. especially for shy couples! It's so nice to have an intimate moment before ceremony for you two to tell each other how you're really feeling without the pressure of being in front of all your guests. If you're worried about ruining the moment when you walk down the aisle. trust me. it’s a totally different experience and he will still have the same reaction you are hoping for! Once you take a step down the aisle. that is when it becomes

100% real. and that is a super emotional and beautiful moment for you two. I like to stop shooting 30 minutes before ceremony so that you have a window to really relax and spend time together or with your family. This is super important because you will be going non stop once the ceremony begins!

After Ceremony:

Classic Family Shots: These photos are always special keepsakes however sometimes they can take a really long time. To avoid this I like to limit them to close family only. Right after these photos we will be taking the bride and groom photos. the epic ones that you are going to hang on your wall! So it is important that you don't get worn out from smiling so much! I try to get all the family shots done in 10-15 minutes. It is super important that you send me a list of the important family photos you want to have so that I know who to wrangle. :) After family portraits I like to make sure you freshen up and have a drink before we start the bride and groom session! This is also when we will do all the fun photos with your bridal party! If you're wondering how I get those really intimate and emotional images of you and your fiance its because I take you to a secluded area away from everyone so that you can have that special moment where its just you two together. Tike to make people smile. want you to have fun on your wedding day! The most important thing is that you are together! So let’s have fun. Once we're done with your "just Mauid" photos and we come back from our little adventure. switch into journalistic mode for the rest of the evening! This is where my 2 years of journalism in College come in handy! I love getting those candid photos of everyone dancing and having fun and just enjoying your special day. I can also be your personal paparazzi if that is more your style! As for dinner time. I dont count this time into your paid coverage. his is my break-time, where Ill eat too and then continue taking photos as soon as everyone's done with dinner. :)

° Tips for Reception| - absolutely love the nostalgic and old fashioned feel of black and white photos for the nighttime. I prefer to use natural light rather than bright, artificial flash. The more beautifully illuminated your venue is. the more fun we can have with the natural light your venue is giving us. A great option is to have a light up dance floor, your guests will feel like John Travolta in

Saturday Night Fever. Its a blast and an amazing way to light up your venue at night!

Day After Sessions:

Sometimes couples want to experience a different location on Maui and get some additional photos in your wedding dress and tux! | love showing couples all the other

beautiful locations that Maui has to offer! These post wedding sessions are so fun to do and it’s really nice because you can feel more relaxed since your big day is over! It's awesome for when vou have an additional dress you want photos of too!
