There’s something so personal about a backyard wedding. Usually it means that there hasn’t been very many (or any) other weddings there and you have close ties with whoever owns the property. In this case, Gena and Alex got married at a private residence of the parents of the groom. It especially meant a lot to Alex since this was the house he grew up in. To be surrounded by so many memories and then starting his marriage to Gena there was like coming full circle and set the tone for how much they wanted to focus on their ohana and make it a family-oriented wedding.
