The next session is near and dear to my heart as Matias is the little brother of my good friend Catalina and also a fellow visual artist who does photography and videography in Maui through his company Nomad Visual Productions. I had a feeling Matias was going to propose, so as soon as heard the good news, I jumped at the opportunity to do their engagement session.
The original plan was to do a beach session at La Perouse Bay, but Mother Nature had other ideas and decided to send a downpour our way. Instead of trying to figure out another date that would work with their busy schedules, Sarah and Matias were happy to enjoy the drizzles and play hide and seek with the rain cloud. Since these two soul surfers spend most of their time in the water, it was the natural place to end such a beautiful time together. Matias and Sarah, these Argentinian-American mixture made in heaven were both so humble and fun to photograph. I canβt wait to see how their love will blossom and grow through the years.
